Built for ease and precision, the Bluelab pH Controller Wi-Fi allows you to control and fine-tune the pH levels of your hydroponics or aquaponics system from your smartphone. With built-in Wi-Fi that you can disable if preferred, you can view readings and adjust the dosing of the pH adjuster from your mobile. Safety lockouts and auto-resume dosing after power loss ensure constant pH control. The included Bluelab peristaltic pump precisely doses pH up or down solutions as needed within the set high/low alarm ranges, while the dosing routine gives time for proper mixing before each dose. The 2-meter cables let you position the controller for optimal viewing.
- The Bluelab pH Controller takes the complexity out of pH management, making precision easier than ever before. That’s because the in-built peristaltic pump provides precise control, delivering doses within a 0.1 pH tolerance. With built-in Wi-Fi capability, if enabled the Bluelab pH Controller Wi-Fi can display data in Edenic (an online software platform, visit Edenic.io for more information). Allowing growers to control pH levels from anywhere, at any time.
- The Bluelab pH Controller is also easy to use and program; simply choose the pH control direction that’s best for your growing setup in the settings. You can either adjust for the pH-up (alkali) or pH-down (acid) direction.
- In addition, this controller comes with a temperature probe, ensuring that all your pH measurements and doses will be automatically compensated for temperature. Simply set your pH target and let the Bluelab pH Controller do the rest.

Q: What are dosing lockouts?
A: A feature that stops the pH controller from dosing if:
- The temperature probe measures a solution temperature of less than 0 °C / 32 °F or more than 50 °C / 122 °F.
- The pH reading does not change after 15 dose cycles.
Q: Can Ineffective lockout be disabled?
A: Ineffective Lockout can only be disabled via the Edenic by Bluelab software.
Q: Do I need to use the temperature probe with ATC for pH?
A: You can omit use of the ATC probe if:
- You do not use EarthLink On setting to stabilise the pH value.
- Your solution temperature is stable, and you calibrate the pH probe in calibration solutions at the same temperature as the reservoir / tank solution.
- Your pH is close to 7.0 pH.
Q: Why should I use Earthlink?
A: To remove/reduce any “mains earthloop” issues affecting the pH value’s stability.
Q: How do I use Earthlink?
A: Ensure the ATC probe is installed and in the same solution as the pH probe. Press ‘∨’ to view status of pH mV value behaviour. Change the Earthlink setting in MENU and watch the pH mV value again. Select the Earthlink option that gives the least pH mV noise/variation. If neither option improves pH stability:
- Calibrate pH probe, see section 5.1.
- Suspect Mains electrical problems. Obtain Electrician assistance.
Q: How do I determine the best Dose OnTime/OffTime values?
A: Adjust OnTime such that 3 to 5 doses shifts the pH by only 0.1pH. If <= 2 doses moves pH more than 0.1pH, you risk overdosing. (pH changes past Required Value). If it takes >=5 doses you will have a slow response to any changes. You may also get “HELP” displayed if pH hasn’t moved enough if 15 dose cycles. If < 3 doses at 1 sec OnTime shifts the pH more than 0.1pH, you will need to dilute the dosing solution to a lower concentration. Adjust OffTime such that the last dose is fully mixed before the next dose cycle starts. If OffTime is too short, you risk overdosing (pH changes past Required Value). If OffTime is too long, correction to pH changes will take longer than necessary.
